Cathay Pacific has unveiled a trio of new long haul flights to Europe beginning summer 2018.
Nonstop routes from Hong Kong to Dublin, Brussels and Copenhagen have been announced, boosting its European footprint to 15 cities.
"We’re excited to offer the only direct flights between Hong Kong and Brussels, Dublin and Copenhagen. These are all fantastic destinations and attract business and leisure travellers from the world over," said the airline’s CEO Rupert Hogg.
"Growing our reach to new destinations that aren’t served from Hong Kong boosts the city’s status as Asia’s largest international hub and enables us to capture new and important sources of revenue.""
All three routes will be operated by Airbus A350 jets with enhanced in-flight entertainment and Wi-Fi.
Cathay Pacific takes delivery of four more A350 aircraft by the end of this year, adding to the 18 currently in operation.
The airline also has an order of 25 larger A350-1000 aircraft which are due to join the fleet from 2018.
