Celestyal Cruises appoints sales head for Northeast and Midwest

Celestyal Cruises has boosted its sales team in key US markets with the appointment of industry veteran Tom Cogan as president of sales and marketing for the US Northeast and Midwest.
He will be tasked with building on the relationships with travel agent and group sales partners to boost business and develop new tour operator relationships.
He will also spearhead industry training seminars and participation in major trade show events.
Cogan’s long career includes a stint as the former director of training for Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA).
He also served as a consultant for several major travel businesses.
"We will benefit tremendously from Tom’s experience, leadership and fruitful business relationships with travel agents, operators, and organizations in the cruise and travel industry," said Nicholas Filippidis Director of product development in North America.

Celestyal Cruises is now into its fourth year cruising in Cuba and now offers year-round all-inclusive sailings which includes two full days in Havana.
