Cheapflights has appointed former Dixons boss John Clare CBE as non-executive chairman.
Clare was chief executive of DSG International, formerly Dixons Stores Group, and was principal driver of DSG’s shift towards international e-tailing.
The appointment comes after Oliver A. Burge stepped down as chairman after six years. He will remain on the Board as a non-executive director.
Cheapflights CEO David Soskin said: “John Clare’s direct experience of the internet and of building businesses and brands internationally will be of enormous value to the Board as we enter this exciting new phase of growth.”
