Covid has reached Antarctica
The Covid-19 pandemic has notched a sad milestone and now gone truly global. No continent is untouched by the virus with Antarctica now receiving its first outbreak.
A Chilean research base in Antarctica reported 26 army personnel and 10 civilian contractors tested positive for Covid-19. Up until last week, Antarctica was the only continent still free from Covid.
