Crystal Cruises has partnered with upmarket hotel group Peninsula for its inaugural AirCruise.
A 27-day journey, called The Peninsula Grand Inaugural Crystal AirCruise, flies from New York to Paris and stops in 10 cities where guests will stay in Peninsula hotels.
Guests will be treated to exclusive events that showcase each location, including a rooftop cocktail reception with views of the New York skyline and a private party and dinner on the Great Wall of China in Beijing.
In Tokyo, guests will enjoy a private performance of the ancient art of Kabuki.
In each destination, guests will also be treated to The Peninsula’s famous Afternoon Tea experience.
Crystal AirCruises’ maiden journey, on August 21, will open for bookings on November 1 with voyages starting at $159,000 per person.
The luxury Boeing 777-200LR aircraft, operated for Crystal AirCruises by Comlux Aruba NV, will have a stand-up bar, table seating and Crystal Exclusive Class seats which convert to lie-flat beds.
