Deals site ‘ashamed and embarrassed’ after systems go down
Travel deals site LivingSocial has apologised to its customers after its systems went down for nearly two days.
The site, which offers deals on travel, restaurants and spas, told its customers it was "ashamed and embarrassed" for the outage and vowed to do better.
Its blog during the problems said: "We know you are frustrated. So are we. We will do better and we will be back. We are committed to making this right with you, our customers and our merchants."
Once the technical issues were resolved, it thanked customers for "sticking with us!".
