Delta appoints senior VP for EMEA
Delta Air Lines has promoted Nathaniel Pieper to senior vice president Europe, Middle East and Africa.
He will replace Perry Cantarutti who is leaving Delta on secondment to the SkyTeam global airline alliance as CEO and managing director.
Based in Paris, Pieper will be responsible for all of Delta’s commercial activities in the region, including the growth of Delta’s joint venture agreement with Air France KLM and Alitalia and its partnership with Virgin Atlantic.
Pieper, who was previously Delta’s VP of fleet strategy and transactions, will report to the airline’s president Ed Bastian.
The appointment will come into effect in August.
