Disney World pauses employee vaccine mandate
Disney World has paused its vaccine mandate program for workers after Florida approved legislation banning workplace mandates. Large businesses could be fined $50,000 per violation.
All hourly workers in the US were required to be vaccinated against Covid-19 and all new hires would need to be vaccinated before starting work.
Disney says the vast majority have received the vaccine but will ‘address the new legal developments as appropriate.’
The mandate is still ongoing for California based workers at Disneyland and California Adventure.
