Dolphin Dynamics moves ahead with plan to double its “ground content” supplier links
London, 19th November 2008 Dolphin Dynamics has introduced direct booking connectivity with accommodation suppliers AlliedTPro, Jonview and shortly Hotelconnect, along with car rental supplier Holiday Autos, in a spate of supplier links developed during recent months.
The investment in developing new supplier links has been undertaken on behalf of Dolphin customers that are expanding into new markets and to support the roll-out its new tour operating solution. The new links enable Dolphin users to search and book accommodation and car-rental on a standalone basis or combined with air tickets and other ground services.
The move is part of a plan to provide connectivity via Dolphin to at least ten new third-party travel suppliers by the end of 2009. Dolphin already provides direct access to travel suppliers including GTA, Holiday Brokers, YouTravel, Holiday Taxis and Avis, along with connectivity to the Amadeus, Galileo and Sabre GDSs and over 80 low-cost carriers. The planned new supplier connections will include a mix of accommodation and other ancillary suppliers.
Roberto Da Re, President at Dolphin Dynamics, commented, “We are investing in more distribution partnerships because our travel agent and tour operator customers require both broad choice and relevant content. By enabling Dolphin users to search across a wider portfolio of selected suppliers, alongside their directly contracted stock, we can help our customers provide better service and become more competitive.â€
