Dusit International signs hotel in Kyoto
Thai hospitality group Dusit International is introducing its first Dusit-branded hotel in Japan.
It signed a management agreement with Yasuda Real Estate Co., Ltd to operate the 150-room Dusit Thani Kyoto.
It is located in the downtown Honganji Monzen-machi district, and will feature all-day dining and Japanese specialty restaurants, a lobby lounge and bar, function rooms, and a health club.
"We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with Yasuda Real Estate Co., Ltd. to bring our unique brand to Japan for the first time," said Suphajee Suthumpun, Group CEO, Dusit International.
Dusit International’s portfolio consists of 339 properties under six brands in 14 countries.
The company has a presence in Japan though its villa rental business Elite Havens which operates ski chalets in the Hokkaido winter sports hub of Niseko.
