Following the launch of easyJet new three-aircraft base in Marrakech, Morocco on April 15, the airline is already announcing to add new routes this winter.
easyJet announced six new routes to Morocco for next winter. This expansion brings the airline’s total network in Morocco to 58 routes, including 30 serving Marrakech. Several existing routes will also become year-round, including Lille–Marrakech, Strasbourg–Marrakech, and Hamburg–Marrakech.
easyJet’s growth in Morocco is also boosting its package holiday arm, easyJet holidays, as the country remains one of its fastest-growing destinations. In Marrakech, the company now offers more than 70 hotels ranging from three to five stars, including selected luxury properties under its “Luxury Collection,” launched in October 2025 in the UK, with first departures scheduled for April 2026.
Talking at the inaugural, Kenton Jarvis, CEO of easyJet, said: “We couldn’t be happier to launch our base in Morocco during our 20th year of operations in the country and as we reach 20 million passengers flown over that time. This is a major milestone for our growth in the region, offering more travel options than ever for both airline and holiday customers, while supporting the local economy through tourism and job creation.”

The new Marrakech base is part of a long-term partnership between easyJet and the Moroccan National Tourism Office signed in autumn 2025.
It will allow the airline to operate a record 4 million seats in its first year. The year-round base has also created 100 direct jobs and thousands of indirect jobs, strengthening easyJet’s position as the number two carrier in Marrakech and expanding its footprint across Morocco. The airline is also the largest carrier between Morocco and the UK as well as between Morocco and Switzerland.
