Emirates offering first A380 service to Christchurch

Gulf carrier Emirates will deploy its double-decker flagship A380 jets on the Dubai-Christchurch route from October 30.
It will be the first scheduled superjumbo services to Christchurch and will operate five times daily.
It also coincides with the launch of the A380 on its Dubai-Auckland nonstop route.
Emirates currently operates daily Christchurch service with Boeing 777-300ERs.
The airline also announced that Christoph Mueller, former chief executive officer at Malaysia Airlines will join later this month.
He will serve in the newly created position of chief digital and innovation officer, Emirates said.
