eRevMax, the leader in hotel online distribution, rate shopping and channel connectivity solutions, announces the promotion of travel technology veteran Prashant Menon to Vice President – Sales, Asia Pacific. Prashant will be responsible for meeting increased demand in APAC and developing industry partnerships. The region is experiencing dramatic growth in online travel bookings and is one of the highest growth markets for the company.
Besides leading the regional sales team, Prashant will focus on actively engaging with chains and independent hotel companies employing a consultative approach to help them maximize returns from online bookings and their electronic distribution initiatives. Given that APAC is a unique market and commands customized offerings, Prashant will provide strategic inputs to develop a ‘service-based approach’ among his team.

Announcing the appointment, Greg Berman, Chief Operating Officer, eRevMax said, "Online travel bookings in Asia Pacific has been growing at five times the growth rates of Europe and the United States since 2011 and this should continue over the next 5 years. This is a great opportunity for Prashant to lead this region – his strategic business approach will help the team cater to the needs of APAC hoteliers while further opening new markets for us for RateTiger and SimpleDistribution brands."
Prashant has been with eRevMax for 18 months and has a deep understanding of the online distribution space. With over 14 years of extensive experience, he brings a wealth of knowledge to this position, moving from his earlier role as Regional Director of Sales.
