EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse to get two onsite hotels in 2027

For the first time, EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse will feature a hotel complex located right next to the Terminal. Adjacent to the main roundabout in front of the airport building on the Swiss side, the complex will comprise a total of 140 rooms. The complex is scheduled to open at the end of 2027.

The new hotels will provide passengers, airline crews and other travelers with the opportunity to stay directly at Basel-Mulhouse airport in a comfortable and convenient setting.

Thanks to its immediate proximity to the Terminal, the project will complement EuroAirport’s existing range of services and further strengthen its attractiveness as an international mobility hub.

The hotel complex, owned and operated by the KER Hospitality Group, will include two brands:

  • 80 rooms under the IBIS BUDGET franchise (2-star)

  • 60 rooms under the TRIBE franchise (4-star)

We are very pleased to be working with EuroAirport on a project that represents a significant milestone for KER Hospitality and, at the same time, meets travellers’ expectations by offering modern accommodations that are perfectly integrated into the airport environment,” explain Olivier Berthaud and Claude-André Deschamps, co-managing directors.

With this project, EuroAirport is responding to a long-standing need for a hotel directly on the Airport site. In particular, the new offer will provide significant additional comfort for passengers departing early in the morning or arriving late at night.

The new hotel complex located directly next to the Terminal will significantly improve comfort for our passengers and meaningfully complement EuroAirport’s range of services,” says Airport Director Tobias Markert.

The hotels are scheduled to open at the end of 2027.
