A former Boeing test pilot has found not guilty of misleading the FAA. Mark Forkner, 50, was charged with withholding damaging information about Boeing 737 Max flaws.
The jury took just two hours to acquit. Prosecutors accused the Boeing 737 Max’s main technical pilot of hiding an issue with the aircraft’s MCAS software two years before it caused the crashes of two aircraft.
The aircraft were grounded worldwide for nearly two years.
