Family Weeks at Yasawa Island Resort and Spa – Fiji
Families deserve a little luxury too, so Fiji’s Yasawa Island Resort and Spa is offering a whole month of fun for kids this winter during its popular Family Weeks.
Between June 16 and July 15, Yasawa will waive its usual minimum age of 12 to become one of the only five-star retreats in Fiji to welcome children of any age.
Yasawa’s Family Weeks coincide with school holidays in most states and involve a daily program of games and entertainment – everything from crab races and fish feeding to games, songs and crafts taken from the traditions of the Fijian people. Child-minding and special children’s meals will also be available.
As kids enjoy supervised play, parents can relax in their luxury beachfront bure (bungalow) or succumb to a soothing massage at the resort’s magnificent new Baravi Spa. They can take a gourmet picnic on any of 11 deserted beaches on the island, swim in the crystal waters made famous by the film The Blue Lagoon, or dive with the resort’s full-time PADI diving instructor.
Yasawa Island Resort and Spa is among the most isolated resorts in Fiji, with just 18 thatched bures hidden among the palms on a stretch of pristine white beach. There are no other resorts on the island and the only neighbours are in the traditional villages nearby.
Island Escapes is offering family holidays at Yasawa Island Resort including return airfares to Fiji with Air Pacific, transfer flights to Yasawa Island and four nights in a Bure Suite at Yasawa Island Resort including all meals and non-alcoholic beverages.
