Canadian budget carrier Flair Airlines is reportedly considering going public.

It is mulling a fast-track IPO via merger with a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) .

The New Vista Acquisition Corp SPAC is fronted by former Boeing chief executive officer Dennis Muilenburg.

New Vistas said it has raised $276 million in a initial public offering and is looking
at potential targets in the aviation industry.

SPACs enable reverse mergers for other companies to go public.

Edmonton -based Flair Airlines offers domestic and international fights across Canada and to various popular leisure destinations including San Francisco, Las Vegas and  Cancun.

Muilenburg was ousted from Boeing during its 737 Max troubles.
