FlyArystan launching international flights from Turkistan to Istanbul
Kazakhstan budget airline FlyArystan will launch an international service from Turkistan in Kazakhstan to Istanbul in Turkey starting on 21 March 2021.
Regular flights from the spiritual capital of Kazakhstan will operate twice a week on Fridays and Sundays, with departure from Turkistan at 08.40 and arrival in Istanbul at 10.35.
Return flights depart Istanbul at 11:20 and arrive in Turkistan 18.25 (all times local). FlyArystan is offering one-way fares starting from €79 for travellers from Turkey and 39,999 Tenge for flights departing from Kazakhstan. Tickets are available to book via the FlyArystan mobile app and on flyarystan.com.
"Kazakhstan and Turkey maintain historically close ties and I’m confident that direct flights between Istanbul and Turkistan will make the connection even stronger", said Renat Abulkhanov, Head of Network and Revenue for FlyArystan.
FlyArystan was the first airline to fly into the new Turkistan airport and it currently operates regular services from Almaty, Nur-Sultan and Atyrau.
This new international route compliments the airline’s existing network of 19 domestic routes.
FlyArystan is Kazakhstan’s first low cost carrier (LCC) and the first one based in Eurasia. The airline launched services in May 2019 and currently operates eight Airbus A320 aircraft with more than 50 daily flights across Kazakhstan. FlyArystan is a division of Air Astana.
