Foreign tourists evacuated from fire-ravaged Turkey resorts
Tourists in the Turkish resort of Bodrum are among people evacuated as wildfires ravage the surrounding countryside. Three five-star hotels were evacuated as the fires claimed at least six lives.
About 100 fast-moving fires have been raging near Turkey’s Mediterranean and Aegean coasts since the middle of last week. Turkey has called in firefighting aircraft fom multiple countries including Azerbaijan, Iran, Russia and Ukraine to help bring the blazes under control.
