‘Forgotten’ Australian travel agents picket MPs offices

Hundreds of travel industry workers across Australia demonstrated at MPs’ offices around the country to highlight their plight. The National Travel Day of Action called for the lifting of travel and cruise bans which they say has left a mental and financial toll on people.
They demanded a Federal Government skills retention and recovery package urgently for the travel sector. It is a coordinated campaign of more than 1500 travel agents around the country.
There was a large showing from cruise specialists who have been in limbo for two years.
