Fred. Holidays: Not connected with American Queen Voyages
Fred. Holidays, the UK representative for American Cruise Lines, has issued an update to UK customers after different US river cruise specialist American Queen Voyages ceased trading.
The two US river cruise lines brands are not related and ACL continues operating.
“Fred. Holidays is aware that the UK trade has a number of guests booked on American Queen Voyages cruises and would like to offer support if required,” it said.
“Whether they want help with existing bookings or to re-book clients on similar product, Fred. Holidays has a team who will be able to assist.”
“While American Cruise Lines offers a similar product, it has no connection with American Queen Voyages and it continues to operate successfully.”
Light Blue Travel served as GSA for American Queen Voyages in the UK and said it will contact travel agents with clients booked on upcoming AQV sailings.
