Frosch acquires LA travel firm
Leading travel management company Frosch has announced the acquisition of Willett Travel, effective from April.
Los Angeles based Willett was founded in 1943, and claims to be the oldest independently owned agency.
It started life as a Greyhound Bus and rail ticket agency serving military personnel and has grown to a staff of 65, with an annual turnover of almost $25 million.
Willett has a strong client base in touring and production travel for the entertainment industry.
Willett Travel owner Tama Taylor Holve said: "Like so many industries, change is constant in travel, and the superior technology, and ‘economy of scale’ benefits to both clients and staff, is a welcome, necessary change."
The deal represents the second acquisition for Frosch so far this year.
In early January it snapped up leading cruise agent Adventure Travels based in Florida.
