Hays Travel moves into overseas property sales
Hays Travel is the first UK agency chain to sign up for a foreign property sales partnership programme established by apartmentsabroad.com.
The year-long agreement gives staff at the agency group’s 32 branches access to specialist property sales expertise, marketing funds and a range of properties in Spain, France, Portugal, Florida, the Bahamas, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Dominican Republic, Turkey, Cape Verde and Morocco.
Real estate company MacAnthony Realty will provide the property sales support.
Agents receive a percentage of the sale price or a flat fee for each referral which is successfully converted.
Hays Travel commercial manager Sue Cuthbertson said: “It gives us immediate access to a fast growing market which we are keen to exploit, with a comfort blanket of specialist expertise which kicks in right at the start of the sales process and continues well after its conclusion.”
