Hillgate appoints HR director
Hillgate Travel has promoted general manager Liz Carter to the position of director of human resources.
The appointment is in preparation for the opening of the travel management company’s new staff-training centre in London this Spring.
Located within the Hillgate London offices, the training centre will host the TMC’s Leisure to Business Training Course, which allows travel professionals to transfer their skills to the business sector.
Carter will also head up human resources for the 200-strong Hillgate Travel workforce, based in London, High Wycombe and Newport.
