Hilton opens first European ski Curio Collection hotel
Hilton has opened the Grand Tirolia Hotel Kitzbuhel, part of its Curio Collection brand.
The hotel group describes Kitzbuhel, in the Tyrol region of Austria, as a ‘skier’s paradise’, with long winter seasons and high snow reliability.
Guests can easily access the slopes from the 81-room hotel, which is the upscale brand’s first resort for winter ski and summer in Europe.
Guests can dine at Restaurant Eichenheim and experience Tyrolian cuisine, including artisanal bread, Tyrolean meat and cheese specialties and famous Austrian pastries.
The Golf Bistro combines the very best of Austrian and Tyrolian culinary traditions, with views of Grossvenediger peak, the perfect aprés golf setting.
The hotel also has a spa area with 13 treatment rooms, six saunas, and an indoor and outdoor pool, as well as a 24-hour gym.
Rooms start at £146 per night.
