HRS launches business travel survey
Travel managers, corporate finance directors and business travellers are being urged to take part in an industry survey by HRS.com.
The online hotel booking portal is inviting companies of all sizes to take part in its UK Companies Business Travel Report.
Being run as an online survey for the first time, the survey is being launched today at the Business Travel Show in London.
“In the past we’ve focused on a specific target of FTSE 500 and ME companies,†said Grant Appleton, commercial director UK.
“We’ll still do this, but with such a dramatic change in the economic climate since our last report in February 2008 we felt it was the right time to expand our database to collate the opinions of a wider range of procurement officers, smaller SMEs and corporate travellers.
“We’ve also expanded the questions to include a section on companies’ environmental policies regarding travel. I’d really urge as many people as possible to take part as the results will give the wider industry an insightful overview of emerging trends and a snapshot of the general health of the corporate travel market.â€
Log on to www.hrs-barometer.com to take part. Those who complete the questionnaire will automatically be entered into a prize draw to win a smart Samsung NC10 netbook.
The results of the report will be published at the end of March.
