Iceland Express is launching a nine-times-per-week service from London Gatwick to Reykjavik from May 1.
The new Gatwick route will replace the existing Stansted route, which will cease its daily service on 30 April 2009.
To celebrate the switch, the airline is offering flights on the Gatwick route for £49 one way, including taxes.
In total, 3,000 seats will be available from midday on 20 April until midnight on 22 April.
Travel must be completed between 1 and 31 May 2009.
