If Only takes Virtual Reality holidays to the next level
The world’s first seven-night virtual reality holiday package is being launched this week thanks to a joint initiative by luxury specialist If Only and immersive technology company AloofVR.
The technology, which has been trialled with a number of If Only’s trade partners, allows clients to enjoy the sights and sounds of a luxury resort from the comfort of their living rooms.
"With all the uncertainty surrounding Brexit and with customers looking to get the best value from their holiday, this is the perfect solution," said If Only sales and marketing director Gordon McCreadie.
"We’ve taken the very best aspects from our top-selling resorts and combined them into one ultra-luxury week-long package but at very affordable prices."

They will spend the week in a luxury villa with their own infinity pool and private beach front.

"There’s a choice of activities, from scuba diving to a sunset cruise, and you can even choose from a selection of companions, switching day to day if you wish. I’ve tested them all and although I enjoyed a nice round of golf with Geoff, the highlight of my holiday was snorkelling with Sue. We saw everything – sharks, seahorses, mermaids. It was truly magical."
Seven nights in Goggles starts at £1,195 per person and goes on sale today.
