Indian startup Akasa Air offering stock options for workers
New Indian airline startup Akasa plans to lure workers in a competitive job market with stock options in the fledgling company. The carrier is set to launch in late May.
Stock options will be offered to workgroups ‘far greater than most airlines in India and hopefully reminiscent of some tech startups.’ It hasn’t said it will apply to pilots or cabin crew. Akasa.has hired about 50 workers for back office divisions and is now recruiting pilots and flight attendants.
