Innstant Travel appoints head of sales
Innstant Travel has appointed Gary Gillespie as head of sales to "step up its drive and support for the UK trade".
Gillespie was at Thomas Cook’s Flexibletrips for nine years and also previously worked at Hays Travel.
Innstant Travel is the online wholesale division of Innstant Group.
It offers agents the chance to sell more than 230,000 hotels and apartments worldwide including Hilton, IHG, and Iberostar plus 1000s of transfers, theatre and sport tickets, tours and attractions.
Global sales manager John Booty said Gillespie would help form new partnerships with UK agents and consortia and strengthen existing ones.
"Having previously held senior sales roles at Hays Travel and Thomas Cook, Gary brings with him a wealth of experience in the tour operating, dynamic-packaging and accommodation only sectors. We are delighted to have him onboard," he said.
"Part of our strategy has always been to establish ourselves as a major force in the UK market and appointing a dedicated head of sales to support the trade forms part of that strategy."
