Adventure specialist Intrepid Travel has taken a 20% minority interest in gay-owned and managed OUT Adventures.
The operator said it is looking to carve a niche within this expanding market.
“We have long wanted to enter this market but knew that we needed to find the right partner before doing so,†said Darrell Wade, CEO and co-founder of Intrepid Travel.
The operator said the homosexual travel market in the UK was estimated at £4.7 billion in 2007.
