India’s civil aviation regulator is probing Alliance Air after a plane skidded at Dumna Airport. The plane was carrying 55 passengers and five crew members who exited safely without any injuries reported.
The ATR-72 aircraft arrived from Delhi. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) ordered an investigation into the cause of the ‘runway excursion.’ The plane overran the runway by about 10 metres, the airline said.
