ITM appoints head of business development
ITM has appointed Neil Simpson as head of business development.
He replaces Diane Steed who is leaving ITM in February after eight years with the business travel association.
Simpson has been working for 25 years specialising in global event/exhibition and advertising sales.
He held senior positions at Centaur Media, including the Business Travel Show and directing Travel Technology Europe, and joined Reed Travel Exhibitions in 2011 as sales director Business Travel Market.
He moved to head of sales for its International Luxury Travel Market Portfolio in 2012.
From there he moved to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, as group exhibition director for Reed Sunaidi Exhibitions, before returning to the UK.
ITM CEO Simone Buckley said: "I’m confident he will be an asset to the association at this important stage of our evolution."
