JetBlue Airways again plans to expand routes at its fast growing Fort Lauderdale focus city with new flights to Charleston, S.C., and Providenciales, Turks & Caicos.
The new Charleston service takes off on November 19 and the Providenciales route is also slated for a November launch once JetBlue receives final government approval.
Both services will be operated with 100-seat Embraer 190 aircraft.
JetBlue is already the number one carrier at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood and expects to operate more than 100 daily flights from the airport by 2017.
The carrier previously announced new routes beginning in the fall from Fort Lauderdale to Mexico City, Baltimore, Philadelphia and Albany.
