JetBlue passengers face big FAA fines for unruly behavior
Two JetBlue passengers are facing hefty fines for alleged drunken behavior during a flight in January. The FAA said it will impose fines of thousands of dollars on the passengers whose separate antics led to them being escorted off the plane by police.
They could be fined nearly $50,000 between them. It is unclear if they were traveling together.
It comes after a crackdown by authorities against unruly behavior with the FAA promising a ‘zero-tolerance’ policy. It has already proposed big fines of tens of thousands of dollars in other similar incidents.
