JetBlue puts new Caribbean routes on sale
JetBlue has put its upcoming new Caribbean flights on sale.
Bookings are now live for the recently announced new Caribbean service from New York’s JFK to St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Bonaire.
Flights between JFK and Argyle International Airport in St. Vincent and the Grenadines will launch on October 9 and operate Wednesdays and Sundays.
Bonaire flights will start November 5 and operate Tuesdays and Saturdays.
By the end of 2024, JetBlue will serve more than 80 nonstop destinations and offer an average of over 200 departures per day from New York City.
“This fall, we are excited to introduce Bonaire and St. Vincent and the Grenadines as part of our strategy to introduce underserved routes,” said David Jehn, VP, network planning and airline partnerships.
“By offering nonstop service to both islands, we look forward to strengthening our presence in Latin America and the Caribbean and bringing our low fares to new markets.”
JetBlue’s growth in the Caribbean is part of a broader reach into international markets.
In recent years, the airline has built a sizable network throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
With the launch of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Bonaire flights, the airline will now operate in more than 25 countries in the region.
St. Vincent and the Grenadines is made up of 32 islands and cays.
JetBlue will be the first US carrier to offer a direct air linle from New York-JFK to St. Vincent.
“The government and people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines are thrilled to welcome JetBlue,” said Honorable Carlos James, St. Vincent Minister of Tourism
A Dutch island, Bonaire is renowned for its clear waters and reefs and is one of the region’s top scuba diving destinations.
