South and Central American specialist, Journey Latin America, has switched from Galileo to the Amadeus GDS system.

JLA have signed with Amadeus for a period of 3 years. As well as installing Amadeus’ internet protocol, Amadeus Pro Tempo, the reservation booking tool, will be installed on 60 of JLA’s terminals in both the London and Manchester offices.

Commenting on the move, JLA director, Ranmali Sanmugam said: “We felt the time was right to switch to a GDS which would provide the technological solutions that our anticipated future requirements would need, as well as work in a system supported wholly by those South American and European Airlines which service South and Central America so well”.
