Luxury hotel group Kempinski has been left without a London presence after The Stafford hotel terminated its management contract.
According to a statement, the two came to a ‘mutual and amicable agreement’ to end the contract which was signed in 2010, just before a £6 million refurbishment project.
Kempinski has also previously managed other London properties, including The Bentley in South Kensington and The Courthouse on Great Marlborough Street.
A statement from The Stafford said a ‘new partnership and affiliation announcement’ would follow next week.
Reservations for the 102-room hotel can still be made through Kempinski until September 10 and all existing bookings will be honoured.
