Last official Hawaiian Airlines flight touches down

Another key milestone has been reached in the Alaska Airline-Hawaiian merger.

The final flight using the Hawaiian Airlines callsign is set to touch down.

It will bring an end to 95 years as a standalone airline.

From October 30, all Hawaiian aircraft will now revert to the Alaska Airlines callsign and airline code.

The last flight on the HA callsign is HA866 from Pago Pago, American Samoa, to Honolulu.

However, Hawaiian’s brand image will live on.

“While Alaska and Hawaiian will soon operate under single call sign (AS), guests will continue to enjoy our distinct Alaska and Hawaiian brand experiences,” a spokesperson said.

Alaska Airlines will continue the Hawaiian branding on flights to and from the Hawaii islands.

In the near future the airlines will share a FAA single operating certificate
