Lastminute contributes $100m to Travelocity

Lastminute.com contributed more than a third of global revenue to Travelocity in the third quarter of the year.

Lastest figures from parent comapny Sabre Holidings show a $100 million revenue contribution from lastminute.com as part of Travelocity’s total global revenues for the quarter of $276 million – up 98% year-on-year.

Travelocity achieved a 76% rise in global travel booked to $2.1 billion in the three months, a rise of 76%.

Sabre Travel Network saw third quarter revenues up by 4% to $403 million, with global transactions also rising by 4% to 86 million. Worldwide transactions through the GDS in the first nine months of the year were up 4% against the equivalent period the previous year.

Overall third quarter revenues for Sabre Holdings were up by 29% to $700 million, producing net profit of $65 million, against $56 million a year earlier. Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization were $138 million.

The company projects full year revenue growth of 18%.
