Another tourist has drowned in separate incidents while snorkelling in the Maldives.
A South Korean woman, 66, got into difficulty near the Paradise Resort and was rushed to hospital in Male, where she later died.
It is thought she died while undoing emergency treatment.
Unconfirmed reports said another elderly tourist, who was staying at the same resort, also passed away while snorkelling.
It would be the fourth death this year.
A honeymooning couple from the Philippines died while snorkelling a week earlier off Kaafu Atoll Dhiffushi island.
Following the rash of deaths, Maldives tourism minister Ali Waheed told local media a series of snorkelling safe zones will be set up.
The minister said the government will work with island councils and resorts to identify safe areas for snorkelers which can be easily monitored.
