A 26-year-old man has denied murdering British backpacker Grace Millane in New Zealand.
The defendant, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, entered a not guilty plea in the High Court in Auckland.
A trial date was set for November 4.
Miss Millane, 22, Wickford, Essex, had been travelling in New Zealand following a six-week group trip through South America.
She was last seen at a hostel in Auckland on December 1. Her body was found a week later on the outskirts of the city.
