Marriott International partner Rajawali Group has named Michelle Caporicci as Managing Director for luxury resorts The St. Regis Langkawi and The Westin Langkawi Resort and Spa, along with the Langkawi International Convention Centre.
Caporicci was most recently sales & marketing regional vice president for The Ritz Carlton in Asia Pacific where she oversaw 26 hotels in eight countries across the region.
She has more 20 years of experience in various roles, beginning as a catering manager for Long Beach Marriott Hotel.
Moving to Asia nearly a decade ago, she was hotel manager of The Portman Ritz-Carlton, Shanghai and was subsequently promoted to general manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Guangzhou.
In the new position Caporicci will be responsible for strategic direction for the business and drive growth of the brands in Langkawi.
