Maui now requires booster for full vaccination status

Booster shots are now required for people to retain fully vaccinated status in Maui. Proof of a booster shot will be needed to dine indoors, visit a bar, or go to a gym.
Maui County calls it a ‘vaccine update’ and is effective on January 24. Hawaii plans to impose similar rules state-wide in the near future. The CDC recommends everyone over 15 years old gets a booster shot as soon as they are eligible.
