New online marketing chief for Cheapflights
Cheapflights has promoted online marketing manager of Shah Fard to head of online marketing and global SEO (Search Engine Optimisation).
The online price comparison company said he will be responsible for global SEO (UK and US) and management of all online marketing activity for the UK business, including SEO, PPC (Pay per Click), affiliate marketing, online advertising and syndication.
Fard will report to commercial director Rob Passmore and will liaise with marketing director Andrew Canellos in the company’s US operational base in Boston.
CEO David Soskin said: “Over the past five years our unique user traffic growth has grown from 300,000 to more than 4 million a month and our travel advertising partners from 70 to over 900.
“With over a million deals published on our sites, it has been the technology skills of our team at Cheapflights that has kept us as a leading international travel search engine. I am delighted that Shah’s contribution to this achievement has been recognised with his promotion and the expansion of his responsibilities.”
