New technology for major car rental company
Galileo International and WizCom International announced Advantage Rent-A-Car has upgraded to CarMaster Inside Availability.
Advantage Rent-A-Car says it is the US’s largest independently owned car rental company. It will now be using Galileo’s highest level of connectivity, made possible by WizCom’s switch technology.
CarMaster Inside Availability allows Galileo-connected travel agents to easily access the same real-time rates and availability data displayed in the car rental company’s own reservation system. The technology provides instant confirmation and eliminates the need for confirmation calls.
The technology also gives car rental companies control of where, when and how they make their inventory available.
Advantage Rent-A-Car can now instantly return customized responses to agent queries with client-specific pricing and inventory. The information is displayed graphically on screen for review.
