New UK sales boss for American

Friday, 09 May, 2006 0

American Airlines has made an internal appointment by promoting Graham Bell to UK & Ireland regional sales director.

He replaces Leslie Peden, who joined from Royal Caribbean International but then left last December to return to the cruise industry with Island Cruises.

Bell was formerly head of corporate sales, a role he took up last June, and has been with the US carrier for 16 years. He has been acting sales director since Peden’s departure.

Bell reports to EMEA sales, marketing and reservations managing director Maria Sebastian.
