Norfolkline CEO Thomas Woldby and CFO Lars Olsen are to step down when ferry operator DFDS completes its purchase of the company.
A spokesman for Norfolkline said that until mid-July when the cash and shares deal is finally complete, there would be no news of job losses or relocations elsewhere in the company but “it was likely” Norfolkline’s top brass would go in a top management restructure.
In their place will be current DFDS CEO Niels Smedegaard and Torben Carlsen.
The spokesman said: “Staff will hear more in mid July once the deal is actually done. So far there has just been a skeleton restructure of top management. The two companies will operate completely separately until mid July but in the meantime there has had to be a common structure at management level.”
