The latest perk to go from US Air: peanuts.
But this time, it’s not a money-saving venture.
The move is being made over worries about peanut allergies.
“It’s a growing concern,” said Jennifer Tonge, US Airways director of customer relations. Peanuts are by far their customer’s favorite snacks, she said.
They will be replaced by pretzels, crackers and other snacks.
