NZ campervan rental firm Iconic Motorhomes closes down
High-end Christchurch campervan rental firm Iconic Motorhomes has become the latest Covid casualty in the tourism industry. It has closed down and is in the process of selling off its fleet of 55 vehicles.
Iconic Motorhomes director Kay Parker said the business had hung on with hope New Zealand’s borders would open sometime this year. It has locations in Christchurch and Auckland. The lack of international tourism had severely impacted the business which is unable to ride out several more months until borders fully open in 2022.
